"The TCS New York City Marathon is not only the best day in New York City, the 5-Borough race has become the world’s largest marathon with over 55,000 total finishers.
The race began in 1970 as four-plus loops of Central Park, and in 1976 it became a five-borough event that set the blueprint for big-city marathons around the world. The course takes runners over the Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge from Staten Island to Brooklyn, then through Queens, Manhattan, the Bronx, and back into Manhattan to finish in Central Park.
The National Bleeding Disorders Foundation (NBDF) is proud to be an official charity of the TCS New York City Marathon. The 26.2-mile New York City Marathon takes you through the streets of New York City for a one-of-a-kind race experience.
